About
Anne-Sophie Hayek, Psychotherapist and Psychologist FSP, Ph.D.
Psychologist, lover of life and sailing, fond of writing, the passage of time, and the little things. I have two activities: mindfulness sessions and psychotherapy sessions.
I believe in the importance of prevention and sharing, as well as the discovery of oneself when it is done with kindness and listening to others. I also believe in the importance of understanding and taking care of oneself when our state weakens.
My past is an integral part of my present; it is a mix of images, smells, tastes, and intonations that come from Byblos in Lebanon, Marseille and Paris, and the beautiful countries I’ve had the chance to explore through my studies.
It is the encounters, the people who question you and teach you to push your limits, who support you. It is the vast blue sea, the sound of waves retreating on the pebbles, and the awareness of human suffering and chaos. Finally, it is the desire to contribute to a better world by focusing on the potential within each of us.
With this in mind, I began studying law before turning around to pursue psychology. After a master’s degree, a few years of research, and a doctorate, came a time of questioning as I discovered the work of palliative care teams.
The future? To follow my intuition, work with people passionate about their profession, continue learning from clients/patients. To give meaning and pass it on.
